  1. I was doing this a bit ago, and there are a few websites that break songs down by BPM.  Just picked my pace and picked some random songs and it seemed to work out pretty well.

  2. That has only partially worked for me in the past, but I have weird moods and eclectic tastes. It helps to have other people point me at things I may not have thought of that they like.

  3. There used to be a podcast called Podrunner that was all arranged by BPM. I think I still have a bunch of it archived somewhere...
