The being sick kept me from running the 5K on Sunday, not breathing well, feeling dizzy and nauseated, etc. Just barely starting to feel better today, still weak, achy, coughing. So I'm giving up on running the 5K in Detroit. I don't know if I'll come into town or not, anyway. I mean, I would like to hang out with you guys, but I'm feeling very down, right now. It's stupid, but I feel like if I could at least have done this, it would have helped me feel a little bit better about myself, and given me a little more confidence and motivation. Which I really, really need. Anyway, I don't know when I'm going to be able to stop coughing every time I breathe, so I should probably work on that.

  1. There will be other races to attempt. Rest and keep training when you are well.
