I may have gone a little bit nuts at the farmer's market today .... oh, well. Dinner tonight was huge wild caught scallops, dusted with grindey pepper on one side (a mild to moderately coarse grind), sauteed in olive oil with fresh minced shallots, accompanied by fresh organic shiitake mushrooms, sauteed in olive oil with minced fresh shallots. I highly recommend this as a meal.
