My niece is having her long-delayed removal of wisdom teeth on Friday. She is very stressed out. I think her mom is having a little mom-stress, too. She gets approximately 2+ weeks to get over it before she heads off to start college. Yep, I'm pretty sure she and her mom are both stressed.
Mine was not super bad. I don't actually recall exactly how long it took me to be back at work but it was within a few days.
ReplyDeleteThe milkshake I had several hours after the surgery (eaten with a spoon!) was pretty good, though.
Hopefully all goes well and she recovers long before school starts.
There's no reason to suppose she won't (recover quickly). She and her mom have made sure they are well-stocked with ice cream and jello.

I definitely recall demanding (repeatedly) to be told where Devil's Tower is and eventually concluding it's in Louisiana.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget mashed potatoes. They were my favorite. My mom just kept me drugged for a couple of days, so I didn't have any problems with mine.
