Last night's dinner:

1. Roasted baby beets (from the other end of the beet greens made the other day) with sauteed garlic scapes.
2. Zucchini and summer squash ribbons in an heirloom tomato, garlic, basil sauce.

I like this farmers' market fresh produce thing.

Oh, and if I didn't mention, the beet greens turn out not only to look like baby swiss chard, they taste like it, only a tiny bit sweeter.
