It seems there is a shot called a car bomb? Possibly a politically incorrect name, based on the implications of its constituents. Anyway, somebody made an eponymous cupcake. Wow. The silly sprinkles aside, the dark, dark chocolate cake was dense, moist, and unquestionably tasted of stout. The less dark chocolate ganache filling tasted A Lot like whiskey, and the buttercream frosting tasted like Bailey's. I think I will forever think all frosting is too sweet, now, but anyone under 10 would probably want to bathe in it. While I appreciate the occasional dense, moist cake, my preference tends towards the tastes rich but feels light type of thing. Again, anyone under 10 would be all over this, except that under 10s do not usually favor bitter flavor profiles. Otherwise, this was quite the impressive cupcake.
One of the other speakers at the soap conference brought a ginormous box of cupcakes along with her (her other business is a cupcake shop called Fat Bottomed Girls), of which this was one of the flavors.

Yeah. I was taken aback by the name, but it is a tasty, tasty flavor combo.
