An attempt at Reine de Saba.


An attempt at Reine de Saba. The torte itself worked very well, but the ganache coating got lots of annoying air bubbles in it. I haven't had that happen before, and while it's probably my fault, I am blaming the Guittard, which I had to use because I couldn't get Valrhona. The taste and texture were exactly what they were supposed to be, though, so I'll live.

  2. Thanks! Technically, the ganache is not required, but it's all spiffy lookin' 'n' stuff, when it works, and it's more chocolate! I guess I will just have to practice coating more things in ganache.
