1. Supportive care nurse and PA here at house today for over an hour. Officially referring to hospice. So another nurse from hospice will be at house tomorrow for however long. The support thing could be good, but the people in the house all the time is not.
2. Started methadone for pain control. Explanations available if you're interested.
3. Supposed to be getting social work and counseling as part of this process. For BOTH my dad and my mom. Dad did speak with PA and nurse some, and am sure he was able to let go of some things because he was exhausted after talking with them. This is good, more or less. My mother, otoh, is FINE, etc. So I really hope this is going to go in place for her, as well. Because see another post I might make sometime I'm not sure how much more of her being FINE we can take.

You're welcome to come by here, but I suspect the commute might be a turn off.
