The wind blew so hard, it knocked the storm window partly out of the frame on one of my parents' bedroom windows.
The wind blew so hard, it knocked the storm window partly out of the frame on one of my parents' bedroom windows. They have snow in their bedroom.
In other news, my sister's furnace broke. She woke up smelling gas and feeling cold this morning. Fortunately, both the gas company and the furnace people came quickly. Not that the weather in Michigan isn't balmy.

Ouch^2.
ReplyDeleteYikes!
ReplyDeleteThat sucks but I'll play...My furnace went out. My car is stuck, inoperable, in someone else's driveway, and my brother's furnace went out.
ReplyDeleteIsis and I are staying warm in my bed. I have hot water. Cary can go to Jean Marie's if he trusts his pipes not to freeze. We have food, shelter, etc. and will be fine.
Stay warm and safe yourself. ((Hugs))
It all equally sucks, by the way.
ReplyDeleteI think you are kind of winning, actually, only I'm pretty sure this is not the kind of winning that is usually winning.
ReplyDeleteOur furnace is out, too, but that's been true since late 2012 so we have well-established coping mechanisms and it's really not bad. Plus the bitter cold is over, here. Ugh, to all the above.
