Hi - so, some things have been pretty bad recently with my dad's situation. I kind of need to use you guys as a support network, but it is entirely reasonable that some of you might prefer not to be subjected to tightly locked posts type content.     I have not been in that situation, but I have watched my parents go through it multiple times.

    I lost my father to cancer.  I can weather the entire gamut of emotions this brings if you need a shoulder to cry on/lean against/virtually punch.

    I am so far fortunate enough not to have lost a parent. But I've watched each of my parents go through it, and I know how important the support network is. I am happy to provide whatever help I can.
