So we may have accidentally made apple beer? Because some yeast seems to have snuck into the cider, and now it's all yeasty and tastes like, well, beer.

ReplyDeleteYour cider is becoming hard cider. Happens if you don't pasteurize it. As long as it's tasty, it's a all good!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, though, because I've never had hard cider that tasted so much like beer.
ReplyDeleteI don't imagine you've ever had hard cider that wasn't filtered and artificially carbonated, either. But yeah, it's a whole different animal. I like it, though!
