So we may have accidentally made apple beer? Because some yeast seems to have snuck into the cider, and now it's all yeasty and tastes like, well, beer.
I don't imagine you've ever had hard cider that wasn't filtered and artificially carbonated, either. But yeah, it's a whole different animal. I like it, though!

ReplyDeleteYour cider is becoming hard cider. Happens if you don't pasteurize it. As long as it's tasty, it's a all good!

ReplyDeleteOh, yeah. It tastes like kind of a light, fruity, wheat beer. With naturally occurring bubbles!
