I guess I will not be using google plus as an app on any of my mobile devices anymore. The only suggestion I got from the forums was upgrade to iOS 7, it will fix everything! I rather doubt that, and it will probably not be happy on older devices not intended to run it.  Besides, the g+ app claims it supports older versions, which you may readily download, so this supposedly should not be a problem.

It's very annoying.  I'd be thrilled if any of you have any suggestions, here.

    Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it? Sort of brute-force, but it can sometimes resolve these weird things.
