The thing I found most disturbing about her case studies was the behavior of her co-workers in the one she reported. What "X" did was very, very wrong, but the fact that the other people at her job were the ones that made her so uncomfortable she had to go to HR was every bit as wrong, IMO. They would have been every bit as report-able, especially if she talked to them about it and they continued the behavior.

ReplyDeleteThis brings to mind just why I was so offended at a co-worker who insisted that when I went to consult with the engineering professors at school that I should maybe wear my contacts instead of my glasses, wear my hair down, dress up a little, you know, so they would listen to me and my complaints.
