Squirrel started eating the nectarines. More correctly, it's eating the pits after knawing away the not yet mature fruit. Even breaks off the branches to get them. Doesn't even run unless you come after it. It's illegal to shoot it where we live. Nothing keeps it off the tree, although we are about to try a solution of Murphy's and cayenne.
