Things that irk me: writing q&a where something has five names (ok, three) and only using one, probably the least common. This is done knowing that even if the person taking the test really knows all the other critical info but not that fifth (ok, third) synonym, this may lead them to guess incorrectly among the answer choices, none of which appear to be correct.
