Today is fired.

  1. Preach it sister.
Although for me, today has to be better than yesterday.

  3. Can I hire all the rest of all-y'all's todays, then? I've got, like, eight days' worth of shit to do.

  4. Amy Young I would totally, but a) You would never sell me something that is so low quality, and b) The time-block of today is an entire-day-of-meeting.

  5. Amy Young you are proposing to give me money in exchange for my lazing about and doing nothing, so you can get more work done?

    CHALLENGE ACCEPTED

  6. Amy Young, I think you will have problems getting my day to do any productive work, it being sleep deprived and all.

  7. It's actually not far from how my day is going today, anyway:

    1)  Try to encode scenario in Symbolic Perseus
    2)  Run simulation
    3)  Wait an hour
    4)  Get an array index error back from SP at a non-predictable point in the execution with no hint whatsoever of why that is happening.

Although I suspect the mere act of using software written in both Matlab and Java is just asking for an index error at some point.

    Tonight's anticipated activities:

    1)  Go home
    2)  Try to get the VPN to campus open
    3)  Fail
    4)  Call AT&T to find out if and why they are blocking UDP packets all of a sudden, which is the likely culprit
    5)  Waste three hours looking for someone in tech support who can spell UDP
